Hello! My name is Tracey (she/her/hers) and I write everything you read on California Reading.
I am originally from north-west England, and moved to California in 2015. After a few years in the SF Bay Area, and a few years just outside of Los Angeles, I happily landed in a place called Sleepy Hollow.
I am a wife, mom, Project Manager, and cheerleader of weird novels and short stories. I also enjoy cross stitching and bird watching. Y’know, like an old person.
I have a degree in Journalism, and have been writing for various outlets for over 20 years. Yikes!
Since April 2018, I have read a short story (almost) every day. You can follow my ever-growing list here.

Hi Tracey. I am a very Californian writer. You might enjoy one of my magical realist short stories that is featured in my forthcoming collection, How to Date a Flying Mexican (University of Nevada Press), and published in this lovely online litmag: http://www.assignmentmag.com/onlineonly/2022/1/23/the-chicano-in-you-a-short-story-by-daniel-olivas
